Nearly $100,000 in heavy equipment damaged: Burns Lake RCMP

BURNS LAKE, B.C.— Burns Lake RCMP reports that heavy equipment on the 700 Forest Service Road was damaged last weekend.

Police say three excavators and two lamp stands were extensively damaged between the evening of Feb. 5 and the morning of Feb. 6. RCMP say the cost to repair the equipment is near $100,000.

“There are no known witnesses, and we hope the public can provided information that may help solve this crime,” S/Sgt. Shaunna Lewis says.
