Spruce Kings win and loss in shootout over the weekend; lengthy point streak continues

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings’ point streak extended to 18 games over the weekend.

The Spruce Kings picked up three of a possible four points from their two-game home stand against the Wenatchee Wild: a 3-1 win on Friday (Feb. 11) and a 2-1 shootout loss on Saturday (Feb. 12).

Prince George now sits at 23-9-3-6 on the 2021-22 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season, good for 55 points in 41 games and third in the Interior. They travel to Salmon Arm on Friday (Feb. 18) to begin a three-game road trip against the Silverbacks.
