44-year-old man charged in connection with Chetwynd bank robbery

CHETWYND — An arrest has been made in connection with a bank robbery in Chetwynd which happened last Friday at the Scotia Bank.

On Tuesday, Chetwynd RCMP executed multiple search warrants at a home and arrested Kylie Landon.

BC Prosecution Services have approved the following charges:

Robbery with Firearms, contrary to section 344 (1 (a.1) of the Criminal Code
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, contrary to section 91(1) of the Criminal Code
Unlawful Pointing of a Firearm, contrary to section 87(1) of the Criminal Code
Unlawful Storage of Firearm, contrary to section 86(2) of the Criminal Code
Fail to Comply with Undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code
