The Cats get back on the winning track in Kelowna

KELOWNA, BC- A 5-2 victory for the Prince George Cougars (19-25-2-1) over the Kelowna Rockets (26-12-1-3) Wednesday night at Prospera Place,snapping their five-game winless streak .

Carter MacAdams led the charge with his first career hat-trick . Cayden Glover and Ethan Samson also found the back of the net, and goalie Tyler Brennan stopped 44 shots.

With the win, the Cats moved three points ahead of the idle Vancouver Giants for sixth in the Western Conference standings. Vancouver has four games in hand.

The Cougars and Rockets face off again Friday and Saturday night at 7 at CN Centre.
