Carrier Sekani Family Services wins award for service to children and families

PRINCE GEORGE — A big honour for Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS).

The organization is being recognized by the American National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) with one of two 2022 Champions for National Children awards.

The award recognizes “exemplary service to Native children and families” and “significant contributions to the well-being of Indigenous children, families, and communities in the United States or Canada.”

CSFS says it’s very proud to receive this international recognition. CSFS CEO Warner Adam will accept the award virtually during NICWA’s upcoming 40th annual Protecting Our Children Conference taking place from April 4-6, 2022.
