PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware if you’re headed north.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Pine Pass with 15 to 25 centimetres expected to fall between Powder King and Mackenzie Junction today and tonight.

“A frontal system crossing the BC Interior will bring snow, at times heavy to the region. Ten to 15 cm of snow is expected to fall today, with an additional 5 to 10 possible tonight,” says Environment Canada.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
