Highway 97 now open following incident south of Prince George

UPDATE (9:45 a.m.): B.C. Emergency Health Services told CKPG Today that they were called to the scene about 20 kilometers south of Prince George just before 1 a.m. They say one person was taken to hospital.

UPDATE (9 a.m.): DriveBC is reporting that Highway 97 is now fully open in both directions after a vehicle incident 18 kilometers south of Prince George this morning.

EARLIER: PRINCE GEORGE — Highway 97 is closed as crews are on scene between Patterson Road and White Road recovering a vehicle.

DriveBC announced the closure on Twitter at around 3 a.m. on Sunday (March 13).

The highway is closed for for 2.4 km, 7 to 10 km south of Pineview.

Estimated time of reopening is 10 a.m. Sunday.
