Two people found dead after snowmobile incident near Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A man and a woman were found dead down a steep embankment with a snowmobile Saturday (March 12) morning.

Williams Lake RCMP say they were called to the 1400-block of Mile 168 Road along with Emergency Health Services, Williams Lake Fire Department and Central Cariboo Search and Rescue.

BC Coroners Service is investigating to determine causal factors. RCMP say no names will be released.
