Prince George to host the first-ever BC Gourmet Arts Festival

PRINCE GEORGE – Get your forks and napkins ready, Prince George is hosting a new food festival that hopes to put the city on the culinary map. The Community Arts Council of Prince George & District is going to highlight BC’s top local food producers, artists and local hospitality personalities with several events occurring over the weekend.

The CN Centre will play host to the event this summer. The event will be held from Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, 2022. The full lineup of events is still in development but you can look forward to a few of the confirmed offerings announced today.

Friday you can look forward to a community BBQ in honour of front line workers. Saturday will host the PG Potters’ guild Great Northern Chilli Cook-Off and Sunday will see the stars come out with a celebrity chef tasting event.

Inside the CN Centre you can look forward to many food offerings from savoury to sweet. Local craft breweries and spirit makers will be on the scene as well. You will also be able to get your hands on artisanal glassware and textiles.
