Community responds to suspicious death on Irwin Street

PRINCE GEORGE —A suspicious death on the 600 block of Irwin Street has shocked some community members in the area and for others, it is just another day in the neighborhood.

RCMP learned of the deceased male Saturday night and is conducting an investigation surrounding the circumstances of the death.

CKPG spoke to neighbors trying to gather more information about the incident and see how the community is responding to the news.

One elderly neighbor was quoted as saying “I always lock my doors, There are a lot of strangers around.”

Another neighbor said the home of the deceased male had “nefarious characters walking back and forth,” and that the home was suspicious.
