Eight more dead from COVID over weekend

VICTORIA – Five-hundred and six new cases have been reported across the province in today’s COVID update.

Eight new deaths occurred over the weekend with one being from the Northern Health region. The total COVID death count for the province is 2,974 as of Monday, March 21, 2022.

Two hundred-seventy-one people are in hospital and 49 are in intensive care.

There has been one new healthcare facility outbreak at Selkirk Seniors Village (Island Health).
