Man in hospital after shooting near Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A man was taken to hospital after shooting south of Williams Lake Sunday (March 20) afternoon.

Williams Lake RCMP say its investigation revealed that the man was outside a residence on the 900-block of Dog Creek Road when the reported shooting happened. S/Sgt. Del Byron says the house is known to be associated to crime in the city.

The man is being treated in hospital. While police say his injuries are serious, they are not believed to life threatening.
