Utility repair operation to close section of 15th Ave downtown

PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware.

The City of Prince George says a section of 15th Avenue will be closed for a utility repair operation starting tomorrow (Mar.24).

The city says both eastbound lanes and one westbound lane will be closed as crews repair a sewer pipe that broke last month.

“In order to repair the line, crews will be excavating the section of 15^th Avenue between Redwood and Victoria Street, primarily on the eastbound side. Eastbound traffic towards downtown will have to detour down Spruce Street and up 17^th Avenue to get to Victoria Street. Westbound traffic will remain single lane,” reads a city news release.
