Cougars fall on the road to Royals 4-2
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars lost their game Friday (March 25) against the Victoria Royals 4-2, their third loss in a row against the Royals.
Neither team scored in the first period, and the second period was quiet too. Royal Gannon Laroque opened the scoring at 14 minutes into the second with help from Bailey Peach and Tarun Fizer.
The beginning of the third period was lively with a goal from Victoria’s Marcus Almquist at 26 seconds in, followed by a Cougar goal from Riley Heidt at just under a minute in.
Riley Gannon made it 3-1 for the Royals a minute later.
