PRINCE GEORGE Suppose you are a Prince George resident and own a home with a lawn and with little or no pesticide use. You are the perfect candidate to participate in a UNBC insect study.

UNBC master’s student Claire Paillard is preparing to study an animal that some of us don’t pay much attention to until it starts to bug us. This summer, she plans to study tiny flys. They typically live in urban areas.

Part of the project requires samples of urban biodiversity areas. That includes residents’ backyards and commercial properties.
