BC Summer Games torch lighting ceremony to be held next week

PRINCE GEORGE—On Wednesday, April 13, the 2022 BC Summer Games will light the torch in celebration of 100 days until the July event begins.

“We are thrilled to invite the community to celebrate 100 days until Prince George welcomes B.C.’s best and brightest young athletes for the 2022 BC Summer Games,” said Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games President, Renee McCloskey.

“This free community festivity will ignite the spirit of the Games with music and entertainment. We hope everyone will be able to join us as we celebrate the spirit that lives here and be a part of our Games.”

The community is encouraged to attend the free event that will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
