Drug trafficking suspect arrested in Mackenzie

MACKENZIE — A man wanted on warrants related to drug trafficking has been arrested in Mackenzie.

Mounties were called to the 13,000 block of Highway 39 on April 15 for an unrelated manner when a man was seen running into the trees.

“Police set up containment in the area and called for the assistance of Police Dog Services (PDS),” says North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson.

A short time later, she says David Gallagher was arrested without incident.
