City launches networking group for young professionals
PRINCE GEORGE—The City is launching a Young Professionals Network of Prince George to provide people who are new to the city or growing their careers with opportunities to connect to others and the community.
“We’ve been hearing from new residents and their employers that there’s a need for more opportunities to make connections in Prince George,” says Christina Doll, Workforce Development Officer. “We’re hoping that the Young Professionals Network will provide a starting point for people to build professional and personal connections and will assist local employers in retaining employees they’ve attracted from other communities.”
The age range for the group is aiming for is 21-45 years old but the group is open to anyone looking to grow their professional and personal network. Currently four events a year will be planned with the possibility of more being added to the schedule.
