PRINCE GEORGE—The Crime Stoppers Spring Shred-it event raised over $6,000.

The event that took place Saturday saw hundreds of cars drive through the parking lot at Prince George Secondary School dropping off sensitive documents for safe disposal. Each box or bag of papers was shredded with a minimum donation of $5.

“Thank you Prince George for helping us raise just over $6,000, with the Northern BC Spring Community Shred-It Event! A big shout out to our amazing sponsors, Shred-It, Mr. Mikes, PGSS, Canadian Tire and SD57,” said Ron Polillo, Vice President of Northern BC Crime Stoppers

Passing the $6,000 mark means this spring Shred-it event is the most financially successful Shred-it event ever hosted by the organization.
