PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Coliseum played host to the season-opening game Wednesday night for the Prince George Senior C Lacrosse as the BMT Bandits welcomed the Quesnel Crossfire.

The league is extremely excited this season because it marks the first time that each of the league’s teams will have a full roster of players, which will result in a far more exciting game to be watching for spectators. Admission for the season is free of charge as a way to draw the community back to the stands.

The Bandits flexed their muscles on the Crossfire, coming out victorious in a 17-3 final.

Cole Paciejewski and Caleb Mueller both scored four goals for the Bandits. Hunter McSeveney, Jake Beaudry, and Dust Cathcart were the goal scorers for Quesnel.

The next game in Prince George is scheduled for Saturday, May 7th at the Prince George Coliseum when the Conifex Power Mackenzie Lumberjacks will faceoff against the Northland Nissan Assault. It will be the first game in a double-header, seeing the Bandits take on the Canadian Brewhouse Devils immediately following.
