Multiple people charged following three break-and -enters just a few hours apart

PRINCE GEORGE — Sunday night was a busy one for the Prince George RCMP after three break-and-enters.

The first occurred on the 1700 block of Lyon Street. Just after 9:30 p.m., police responded to a break-and-enter to a fenced and locked compound.

Police found one man hiding in an unlocked vehicle. RCMP seized documents and cheques from businesses in the area, as well as potential break-in tools. The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Prince George resident Jordan Allan Lalonde. Lalonde is well known to police.

He’s facing charges of break-and-enter and theft, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of break-in instruments.

Then just after 2:30 a.m., police responded to a second break-in to a travel trailer on the 2500 block of Moss Avenue.

RCMP say that led to the arrest of a man and woman with the help of the Police Dog Service team.

The man has been identified as 32-year-old Prince George resident Bobby James Lavalee and 21-year-old Prince George woman Vanessa Leigh Forry. Both are known to police.

Forry has been charged with break-and-enter with intent while Lavalee has been charged with break-and-enter with intent and fail to comply with release order.

Then shortly after 3 a.m., a third break-and-enter occurred to a structure on the corner of Highway 16 West and 20th Avenue.

RCMP say a suspect was caught removing copper wire. Police arrested the man for breaking and entering. He was later released with a future court date. police are familiar with the suspect.
