PRINCE GEORGE — A suspect in a home invasion on the 100 block of River Road last summer was sentenced in Prince George Provincial Court Monday.
Cameron Boyes pled guilty to four counts and was sentenced to 18 months jail for break and enter, 6 months consecutive for possession of a firearm while prohibited, 18 months concurrent for possession of a prohibited weapon and 18 months concurrent for assault with a weapon. The total jail time is 24 months less time served. He will be on probation for one year after he is finished his jail term and he’s also been prohibited from possessing weapons for life. All other counts were stayed.
Two of the victims of the home invasion suffered minor issues. The crime occurred on August 18, 2021.
