RCMP event at UNBC
PRINCE GEORGE—The RCMP is hosting recruiting events at the UNBC campus.
Officers from several specialty units including K9, Forensics and indigenous policing were on hand. Mounties hosted a career presentation for the general population and a specific event for Indigenous applicants.
Curious students and Prince George residents alike filled one of the gyms at the Jago Northern Sport Centre to ask questions to current officers.
Another event is scheduled for tomorrow. Run with a Recruiting Officer is scheduled for May 21, 2022. Recruitment officers will give a presentation to people who have already decided to apply as a police officer and want to know more about what to expect in the application and training process.
