Weapons complaint at Prince George Secondary School

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP responded to a weapons complaint at Prince George Secondary School shortly after 10:30 a.m. yesterday (May 30).

School administration contacted police and stated several students reported being chased by a male from outside the school who might have had a weapon.

When police arrived at the school, they quickly located the individuals identified by students as the suspects.

The investigation revealed students had been taunting individuals, who responded by yelling and acting erratically.

According to RCMP, there were no weapons located.

Witnesses to the event stated they saw the individuals being taunted by students.

Police officers are currently working with school staff to identify all those involved.
