PRINCE GEORGE – The Spruce City Wildlife Association volunteer team will be looking for help to strengthen Chinook salmons stocks in the Nechako River system.
The hatchery has around 1600 fish left, and they are asking for the public’s help to release the young fish in the Nechako River near its facility. The release is planned for Sunday, June 12th. Each participant receives a fish in a cup, and they can walk down to the river bank and release their Chinook.
