PRINCE GEORGE – Start your engines!

This weekend will see the beginning of the racing year at PGARA Speedway as the Northern racing community gets its 2022 season underway.

The three-eighths of a mile track has experienced a bit of a facelift ahead of this season, expected to heighten the competition level this year. New fencing, new lighting, new walls, as well as perhaps the biggest improvement in new asphalt, which is the first time the track has been repaved since the current track first opened in 1984.

Race weekend will begin on Saturday with the Wescar Rolling Mix 100, along with local classes, and will continue on through to Sunday with a day filled with local drivers and cars revving their engines and burning some rubber at the playground of power.

For admission prices and the 2022 full schedule, you can head to PGARA Speedway’s website.
