PRINCE GEORGE — The occupant of a home on the 2100 block of Shady Lane says her home was mistakenly targeted in Sunday’s drive-by shooting.

As CKPG Today reported yesterday, the shooting occurred just after 4 p.m. When officers arrived, RCMP say they found evidence of several shots striking the home though no suspects were located.

On a Facebook posting on The Hart Community page, Kutie Daniels says her home “was mistakenly targeted and was shot up.”

She also said her daughter was home making herself lunch at the time “as our living room had bullets flying thru it, the bullets used were full metal jackets so they sliced thru our walls and pierced almost all our bedrooms.”

Daniels adds “one bullet even exited the back of our house. We have lost our home, my family is terrified to return home and my daughter now suffers from extreme PTSD.”

Police are looking to speak to the owner of a red Dodge Avenger that was seen driving by the home at the time of the shooting.

No one was injured in the incident and police say the home and its residents are not known to police.

If you have any information, call the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
