Drugs, cash and weapons seized by Prince George RCMP

PRINCE GEORGE—Over 500 Grams of cocaine, weapons, cash and more was seized by police late last month.

Prince George RCMP conducted an investigation that resulted in the identification of two residences with possible associations with drug trafficking. Search warrants were executed on the residents. One on the 2400-block of 15 Avenue and the other on the 4000-block of Richet Street.

In total, over 500 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of fentanyl, body armor, multiple firearms and approximately $20,000 in cash were seized by police.

One man was arrested in connection with the investigation and has since been released pending the full results of the investigation.

“Prince George RCMP is committed to targeting those responsible for supplying fentanyl and other illicit drugs to the community. The seizure of these illicit drugs and firearms from the streets will undoubtedly save lives,” states Cpl. Scott Cundy, Acting Commander of the Street Crew Unit.
