PRINCE GEORGE– Tomorrow is officially the first day of Summer and it looks like it’s going to be a warm one weather-wise.

After a colder & wetter spring in Northern BC which saw temperatures come in a degree colder than usual and 20% more precipitation, Environment Canada is predicting warmer weather for these upcoming weeks starting with this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to get into the high 20s this weekend and are supposed to stay consistent for a while. Although a colder and wetter summer may have seemed like a bad thing, the silver lining is that the wildfire risk has dropped significantly.
