
Suspect in Stampede shooting facing multiple charges, including attempted murder
WILLIAMS LAKE — Update: The suspect in the investigation, Jordell Sellars, has been charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life. He was due in court today (Mon).
Earlier: Williams Lake RCMP say an innocent bystander was injured in yesterday afternoon’s shooting at the Williams Lake Stampede.
As CKPG Today reported yesterday, the shooting occurred just after 3:35 p.m., injuring two people. Both are expected to survive. A suspect is in police custody.
“While police believe this to be a targeted shooting, one innocent bystander was injured,” said S/Sgt. Darren Dodge, acting officer in charge.
