Prince George Fire Rescue responds to structure fire Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — Four halls responded to a possible commercial structure fire in Prince George on Saturday (July 10).

Fire crews attended the scene in the 1600 block of Nicholson St., upon arrival, they found heavy black smoke and flames coming from a loading bay area of a building supply store.

“Crews initiated a quick attack of the fire and kept it from spreading to the inside of the structure. Fire crews checked for extension and ventilated the structure,” the Prince George Fire Rescue release reads.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
