RCMP look for owner of high-end bike

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are looking for the owner of a unique bike they recovered on Sunday (July 10).

RCMP found the bike while investigating a break-and-enter to a compound on the 1700-block of Lyon Street. RCMP believe the bike may have been left behind by the suspect.

“It is a white Cervelo men’s road bike. We have checked our local police databases, as well as with 529 Garage and local bike shops and so far, have not been able to locate any owner information,” says Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

“We are hoping the owner will hear of this and come forward to claim their bicycle, as it is a unique and high-end road bike. It is possible the bike was stolen from outside of Prince George.”
