PRINCE GEORGE- Tickets are on sale now for this year’s Hospice Dream Home.

The two-story, six-bedroom, four-bathroom home located in the Nechako View Subdivision is the official opening of the 2022 Hospice Dream Home season. This year the house is bigger and better than ever, with more emphasis on family than ever before.

“It puts that focused lens on that’s what sets hospice apart,” says the Executive Director of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society, Donna Flood. “When we care for someone, we don’t just care for that person. We care for all of their friends and all of their families. We send our care around everyone.”

Keeping the idea of family in mind, the Hospice Society is excited to offer a new service this year.

“We’re excited because we’re going to be offering a new Hospice at Home program, which will allow people to die in their homes,” said Flood. “Often, some minor crisis may happen in the middle of the night, and they have no one to call or no one to come. We will be there, twenty-four seven and be available to go, support them, provide symptom management.”

This year’s house is located at 4185 Mears Court. The house, built by North Nechako Homes, is appraised at $950,000 and is filled with state-of-the-art appliances.

“The hard work paid off. It is a dream come true,” says Ruby Grewal of North Nechako Homes.

The Dream Home and the Hospice at Home tickets 50/50 tickets are be available for sale at numerous venues, including the dream or online, at the dream home lotteries website. The draw for the home is set for December 16.
