Prince George Airport sees ridership increases continue
PRINCE GEORGE—Prince George Airport saw more ridership increases over the second quarter of 2022.
April saw nearly 29,000 riders move through the airport, while June had over 35,000 people fly in and out of the facility.
“The growth in passenger numbers is an encouraging sign,” says Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) President & CEO, Gordon Duke. “Pre-pandemic, we saw an average of 41,000 passengers per month in the second quarter.”
YXS has also seen fire training being conducted on a regular basis. The partnership between PGAA and Firemedix has provided the location and equipment to provide live fire training that otherwise could not be done locally.
