Prince George Farmer’s market to host Kids Entrepreneur Day in August

PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Farmers Market is a staple in the community. There are fruits Veggies and all sorts of booths. However next month the market will host Kids Entrepreneur Day. A chance for kids to set up their own booths down the middle of 3rd avenue and sell the goods they have spent the summer making, baking, or growing. All with the goal of teaching them what it’s like to be an entrepreneur in the real world!

One of those kids is 10-year-old Ruby. She loves to draw and is looking to sell her anime/manga-style drawings. Something she hopes other kids find relatable. The reason she registered? Her Dad is an entrepreneur himself and she wants to be just like him!

The event is sponsored by Telus and Kopar which help cut the costs of providing each child its booth to share. The event will take place on August 27th and kids can register at any Farmers Market beforehand, send an email to manager.farmersmarketpg@gmail.com or check out the PG Farmers’ Market Facebook Page for more information.
