Missing Quesnel boy located; Man arrested in relation to disappearance

QUESNEL—A 10-year-old boy who went missing last night (July 21) in Quesnel has safely been located.

The boy was reported missing last night just after 9 p.m. when family had not seen or heard from him in several hours.

During their investigation officers discovered that the boy had been seen riding his bike on Avery Avenue around 3:30 p.m. with an adult man. The man was identified around 8:00 a.m. the following day.

Police shortly thereafter located the boy and placed the man under arrest. Police are still working to determine the events surrounding the boy’s disappearance.
