New festival coming to PG
PRINCE GEORGE – In the next couple of weeks, this new destination will be opening to the public for the first-ever sunflower festival at the Northern Light Winery’s Foreman Flats location.
“So we’ve got things like classic old trucks, the Muskoka chairs,” explains Winery Owner, Doug Bell. “We also have special picture frames, big swing sets and, of course, the star of the show are the sunflowers. And there’s also an amazing animal viewing area. So for kids who’ve never been to a farm before, they’ll see some amazing things.”
Northern Estate Wineries is more noted for its operations on PG Pulp Mill Road, where there is an orchard full of a broad range of berries for making wine. So why sunflowers?
