47-year-old man seriously injured in hit and run at 5th & Ogilvie

PRINCE GEORGE — One man suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries this morning when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle at 5th Avenue and Ogilvie Street.

Prince George RCMP say it happened shortly after 1 a.m. and are now searching for witnesses.

“Evidence collected from the location indicates a 2008-2010 Ford Focus with an upper trim package may be involved in the incident,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

“Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage that may have captured the event. Additionally, if any anyone living in the area has video surveillance facing the street, they can contact police by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
