Fire at Spruce City Stadium

PRINCE GEORGE: No injuries following an outbuilding fire at Spruce City Stadium this (Wed) morning.

Prince George Fire Rescue says crews from three halls arrived on scene at 5 a.m. to find smoke and flame coming from an outbuilding.

Crews initiated a quick attack and kept it spreading to the adjacent wood structures. The cause is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

* An earlier version of this story stated the fire was at Masich Place Stadium. Prince George Fire Rescue has since provided a correction and say it happened at Spruce City Stadium.
