70 recipients receive Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medallion for great work in the community

PRINCE GEORGE– Many community members gathered at Cedars Christian School Monday to celebrate residents in the community. 70 local residents were chosen to receive a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medallion.

Bob Zimmer, MP for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies there to hand out medallions and pins to those who have positively impacted the community. Community members like Chuck Chin, Major Neil Wilkinson, Donna Flood, and Dave Horton all received the honor for their work in the community as well as many others.

Zimmer will now head to Dawson Creek and Fort St.John to present more medals after the ceremony held here in Prince George
