PRINCE GEORGE—A victim is suffering from multiple serious injuries following a violent attack last week.

On Thursday, August 11, just after 5:30 p.m., police officers responded to reports of a violent assault on the 900-block of Victoria Street. When officers responded they quickly found the victim. Officers determined there were two suspects both of whom were known to police.

“Police identified the suspects as 47-year-old Kerridge Lowley and 29-year-old Dakota Keewatin,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP. “Within an hour, investigators located the suspects and the two men were arrested without incident.”

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved one count of aggravated assault against each suspect. Dakota Keewatin will remain in custody until his next court appearance; Kerridge Lowley will remain in the community on a release order.
