Betty Bekkering seeks reelection this fall

PRINCE GEORGE — Betty Bekkering will be seeking reelection to the Prince George School Board this fall.

She says she brings a ‘students first’ approach to her current role while also bringing proven leadership to the table.

Her values include improving student achievement with a focus on policy development rather than administration.

Bekkering adds running for another term was important considering the impact COVID-19 had on things.

“The disruptions to this four year term has really been three years that we’ve been in turmoil so I think an incumbent running is really important.”
