Soccerfest to kickoff Timberwolves season against Trinity Western

PRINCE GEORGE – The UNBC Timberwolves Men’s Soccer Team will get their 2022 Canada West season underway Friday evening against the Trinity Western Spartan at Masich Place Stadium.

The Athletic Department is trying something new this season to draw more fans out to the game, promoting their first Soccerfest. Fans are encouraged to wear any soccer jersey in order to get into the game for free, and there will be games, prizes, food, and drinks to go along with the season-opening match.

The opening match will get underway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Both teams will face each other again on Sunday for the team’s Nats’ilnik Day. The men’s team will wear their Indigenous jerseys for the first time this season.
