PRINCE GEORGE — After 11 years on Prince George city council, Frank Everitt has decided not to run for a fourth term.

In a statement sent to media, the former president of the United Steelworkers I-424 thanked the citizens of Prince George for “giving me the privilege to be on city council.”

During his years of service, he pointed to “record breaking investment in our city in both residential and commercial building.”

“Our city is certainly living up to its name as the Northern Capital and hub for the north. Families continue to move here for work and affordable housing, in one of the best areas of the province.”
