PRINCE GEORGE — A familiar face for many in Prince George is running for Council looking for his second stint at the council table.

Touting “sensible solutions,” Cameron Stolz has tossed his hat into the City Council ring. He’s promising to clean up crime in the city and build more affordable housing.

He says builders need better options so that they can build more. He says we can also attract more workers by advocating for Prince George as a great place to live across the country.

Stolz adds “that the challenges of the downtown have become a city wide issue.”

“We have no treatment facility for women or youth in our community. How can we expect things to improve if we do not offer them a way out?” He suggests that a treatment facility could be located adjacent to the Youth Containment facility just past the Regional Correctional Facility.

Stolz is a past city councillor and has been a local businessman for the past 32 years. He says businesses are struggling, coming out of the pandemic, and there are ways the City can help.
