PRINCE GEORGE — In two weeks’ time representatives from the Prince George RCMP office and North District 911 Dispatch Centre will take off from Dawson Creek on their bikes to raise money for the Tour de North.
The 850km bike ride spans from Dawson Creek to Williams Lake. Constable Rob Warren and 911 Dispatcher Stacey Osiowy will be joining Sherriff’s Service Superintendent Peter Wharton when the ride kicks off on September 14. The group will pass through Prince George on September 19.
This is the 21st year that the Tour de North has run in support of Cops for Cancer, a fundraiser to help find a cure to childhood cancers.
