PRINCE GEORGE – The second candidate running for the School District 57 Board of Education has officially come forward.
Gillian Burnett, a longtime member of the District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) and BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Council (BCCPAC) threw her hat into the ring on Wednesday.
“I have a passion for public education and I think I have something to offer to the district,” said Burnett. “Hopefully my experience in the past along with learning new things will help move the district forward.”
Burnett holds a daytime job as a controller with a background with finances, part of the collection of experience and skill she hopes to bring to the table.
