Council candidate focusing on sustainable development, infrastructure needs
PRINCE GEORGE — Colleen Mahoney, a UNBC graduate with a Forestry degree, is seeking a seat at the council table.
She first arrived in the city in 1998, calling Prince George “a place with wonderfully kind people and a lot of aging infrastructure.
“I would like to focus on sustainable development to help our community adapt to increasing risks from flooding, fires, and urban heating.”
She’d also like to see more investment in things like water and sewage infrastructure, sidewalks, urban green spaces and mixed use zoning.
