Update: Man wanted for assaulting a police officer

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: RCMP say this person is no longer wanted by police.

Earlier: Police are seeking your help finding a wanted man.

Thirty-five-year-old Tyrone Squinas is wanted for assaulting a police officer. He’s described as:

• Indigenous male
• 173 cm (5’8)
• 65 kg (144 lbs)
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes
• Star tattoo on chest

RCMP say Squinas should be considered violent and should not be approached. If you locate him, call your local police immediately at (250)561-3300.
