PRINCE GEORGE — City of Prince George staff are preparing for the 2023 budget and are asking residents how they feel about the City’s core services. They’re releasing several surveys, and the snow removal and roads and sidewalks surveys are live now.

“Millions of dollars are spent every year maintaining Prince George’s extensive road and sidewalk network,” reads part of the survey introduction on the City’s website.

“Council approved a road rehabilitation budget of $5.5 million and a sidewalk rehabilitation budget of $1.25 million for 2022. This allowed for 38 road-resurfacing projects and 12 sidewalk projects during the 2022 construction season.”

The survey asks for feedback on roads, sidewalks and bike lanes and where the City should focus their efforts – whether that’s paving unpaved roads, adding bike lanes or filling potholes.
